Installation
This section provides guidance on installing Make Provisioning and upgrading to the latest version. The installation process is designed to simplify the setup of Make Provisioning with a one-click approach, ensuring all required resources are properly configured.
You can configure Make Provisioning in two ways:
If you are confident with PowerShell and troubleshooting Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, we strongly recommend using the automated installation. This approach offers several benefits:
- Automatically creates and provisions almost every resource and configuration.
- Logs all relevant information for easier administration.
- Applies consistent naming conventions to minimise errors.
The Make Provisioning Setup page is used to initialise SharePoint after the application has been deployed. It creates all required lists and libraries and registers the licence information used by the provisioning engine.
This chapter also includes the necessary steps to upgrade Make Provisioning. To ensure a smooth and error-free process, we strongly advise using the scripted installation method rather than manual installation.
